Dr. Shujahat Haider Hashmi is an accomplished economist, researcher, academic editor, reviewer, and sustainability expert with over 12 years of university-level teaching and research experience. He currently serves as Assistant Professor of Economics and Finance at NUST Business School, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan. He earned his Ph.D. in Regional Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. His research expertise encompasses Climate Finance, Sustainable Finance, Environmental Economics, Green Sustainability, ESG Reporting, Renewable Energy Economics, Urban Ecology, International Trade, Regional Integration, and Sustainable Economic Development. He has published more than 45 research papers in SSCI, SCIE, ESCI, and WoS-indexed journals, accumulating over 3,600 citations with an H-index of 36. He serves as Area Editor of NUST Business Review and has worked as Academic Editor, Editorial Board Member, and Reviewer for numerous prestigious international journals.
