Dr. Shruti Agrawal is an academician and researcher specializing in Happiness Economics, Well-Being Economies, Beyond GDP, sustainable development, and economic policy frameworks. She is currently serving as Assistant Professor of Economics at GLA University, Mathura, in the Institute of Business Management. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, where her research focused on happiness economics and well-being-based economic models.
She has research experience with reputed institutions including the National Institute of Urban Affairs under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, World Database of Happiness, Erasmus University Rotterdam, and IIT Indore. Her work includes qualitative and quantitative analysis, bibliometric analysis, systematic literature reviews, and policy-oriented research. She has published in reputed journals indexed in Scopus, SSCI, SCI, ABDC, and Q1-ranked journals, including Social Indicators Research, Journal of Happiness Studies, Journal of Cleaner Production, Quality & Quantity, and Environmental Science and Pollution Research.
