Prof. (Dr.) Shivender Rahul

Prof. (Dr.) Shivender Rahul is an accomplished academic in Humanities with interdisciplinary engagement in Law and Social Sciences. He is currently associated with National Law University, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India, as Assistant Professor, Head In-charge of the Department of Humanities, Convenor of the University Doctoral Council, and In-charge of the Centre for Law, Language & Culture. He has published two books and fourteen peer reviewed papers in the areas of culture, medical humanities, language, literature, environment, ethics, law, human rights, social justice, healthcare communication, legal writing, language teaching methodology, law and technology. His ORCID profile also lists the 2026 journal article “Ecological Wisdom in Oral Traditions: Revitalising Environmental Conservation Through Indigenous Storytelling,” published in Comparative Legilinguistics, which reflects his research engagement with environmental jurisprudence, Indigenous storytelling, traditional ecological knowledge, rights of nature, and sacred groves. He has experience in international teaching and academic leadership and is committed to advancing scholarship on social justice and cultural narratives.
