Prof. (Dr.) Lalit Kumar Sagar

Prof. Lalit Kumar Sagar is a senior academic leader, university administrator, and educationist with over 25 years of experience in higher education leadership, governance, teacher education, and open and distance learning. He has served as Vice-Chancellor (President) and Chief Executive Officer of multiple universities in India and internationally, including Venkateswara Open University, Himalayan University, North East Frontier Technical University, and Karwan University, Afghanistan. His leadership responsibilities have included academic governance, policy formulation, curriculum development, accreditation, institutional growth, faculty development, and regulatory compliance across diverse disciplines such as education, engineering, medical sciences, law, management, social sciences, and distance education. Prof. Sagar has been deeply involved in the establishment of universities, medical colleges, and professional institutions, as well as campus development in Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.
