Dr. Shankar Subramanian

Dr. Shankar Subramanian is a highly accomplished academic leader, senior faculty member, curriculum specialist, business strategist, and techno-commercial professional with more than 30 years of multidisciplinary experience across higher education, engineering, construction, mining, finance, project management, business development, and vocational education. He currently serves as Senior Faculty and Institutional Business Development Manager at Westford University College, Dubai, where he leads curriculum development, quality assurance, academic partnerships, institutional approvals, and program development across business, engineering, health & safety, and vocational education domains. He possesses extensive expertise in educational transformation, blockchain technology in education, curriculum design, quality assurance, engineering management, project finance, entrepreneurship, business strategy, vocational education, and institutional accreditation. He has worked with KHDA Dubai, Pearson, City & Guilds, CIPD, UCAM, Cardiff University, Abertay University, Gloucester University and several UAE government organizations. He has authored research publications on blockchain-enabled education systems and has contributed extensively to academic quality assurance, TVET development, and modern educational innovation.
