About

Rajeev Ranjan is a remote sensing and geospatial research professional specializing in hydrology, hydraulic modelling, flood risk assessment, artificial intelligence, and disaster risk mitigation under changing climate scenarios. He is currently serving as Guest Researcher – AROP Fellow at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, and Senior Research Scholar at IIT Delhi. His research integrates AI, process-based hydrological modelling, remote sensing, GIS, SAR, UAV data analytics, and hydraulic simulations for flood prediction, climate resilience, and disaster management in data-scarce environments. He has contributed to international projects, Indo-German and Indo-French collaborations, and has published extensively in Scopus-indexed journals, IEEE conferences, and international symposiums.
