Dr. Maheswari S is an accomplished academic with over 18 years of experience in teaching, research, academic leadership, curriculum development, student mentoring, and industry collaboration. She is currently serving as Associate Professor (Senior) at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai. Her expertise spans Artificial Intelligence, Healthcare Analytics, Video Analytics, Generative AI, Quantum Machine Learning, Data Science, and Quantum Image Processing. She has secured competitive research funding, established an INR 40 lakh Centre of Excellence in AI driven healthcare with Welldoc, led international collaborations with Algoma University and De Montfort University, and contributed to the National Quantum Mission initiative “QHeal: A Quantum Foundation Model for Healthcare.” She supervises Ph.D. scholars in Healthcare AI, has published research in reputed journals and conferences, filed patents, led curriculum innovation, delivered Faculty Development Programmes, and mentored students toward research, internships, publications, and career outcomes.
