Dr. Harsh Sharma is one of India’s most distinguished forensic science experts, with an exceptional career spanning over 38 years in crime scene investigation, forensic analysis, and criminal justice support. He has served in several prestigious roles including Director of the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Madhya Pradesh, and Officer on Special Duty (Academics) at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Bhopal.
He holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Science and has developed unparalleled expertise in crime scene investigation, having personally examined over 4,000 cases involving homicide, rape, accidents, explosions, and other complex criminal scenarios. Notably, he achieved a remarkable 100% success rate in solving rape cases within 48 hours, leading to life imprisonment or capital punishment for the accused.
Dr. Sharma has represented India on international platforms, contributed extensively to forensic research and training, and worked closely with law enforcement agencies, judiciary, and government institutions. His contributions have been recognized at the highest levels, including acknowledgment by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India. He continues to contribute as a mentor, speaker, and expert advisor in forensic science and criminal investigation.
