Dr. C. Bharadwaj Kumar is an accomplished chemical engineering professional with over two decades of experience spanning academia, industrial R&D, and technical consulting. Currently serving as an R&D Industry Expert and Professor at SIETK, Puttur, he brings extensive expertise in process development, agrochemical innovation, and industrial scale-up.
He has held leadership roles such as Vice President (R&D) at Varad Crop Science Pvt. Ltd., where he led the development of advanced agrochemical processes, nano-formulations, fertilizers, and plant growth regulators. His work includes establishing manufacturing plants and delivering innovative, scalable solutions for the chemical and agricultural industries.
Dr. Kumar has led major government-funded research projects, including BIRAC-DBT and ICSSR initiatives, and has contributed significantly to sustainable technologies such as green hydrogen and compressed biogas.
