Mohima Chakrabarty

Mohima Chakrabarty is a molecular biologist and doctoral research scholar specializing in plant molecular biology and biotechnology. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in collaboration with the Regional Centre for Biotechnology, with research focused on functional analysis of transcription factors in Arabidopsis thaliana. Her academic expertise spans molecular biology, gene expression analysis, microbiology, and bioinformatics, with hands-on experience in advanced laboratory techniques including cloning, RT-qPCR, RNA sequencing, and protein interaction studies. She has contributed to multiple research publications in reputed journals and books, and her ongoing research work continues to explore gene regulation and plant molecular mechanisms. In addition to research, she has experience in teaching and academic mentoring, along with voluntary contributions to the National Association for the Blind, supporting visually impaired students.
