Dr. Vinod Kumar is an accomplished academician and industry professional with a strong background in economics, finance, and management. Currently serving as Head of Department and Assistant Professor of Economics at Modern College of Professional Studies, Ghaziabad, he brings a blend of academic expertise and corporate experience.
He holds a Ph.D. in Economics and has extensive teaching experience across reputed institutions including Lingaya’s Vidyapeeth and DSPSR. Prior to academia, he worked in leading financial organizations such as Kotak Securities and Edelweiss Group, providing him with practical exposure to capital markets and financial services.
His research interests include monetary policy, inflation dynamics, financial markets, and the impact of artificial intelligence on economic decision-making. He has published multiple research papers in UGC Care journals and actively contributes to academic development through FDPs, workshops, and institutional accreditation initiatives.
