Dr. Shilpi Sharma

Dr. Shilpi Sharma is a distinguished academician, nutrition scientist, researcher, educator, and administrator with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, nutrition research, dietetics, public health nutrition, food science, and academic leadership. She currently serves as Associate Professor and Head, School of Allied Health Sciences at Jaipur National University, Jaipur. Her expertise encompasses clinical nutrition, therapeutic nutrition, functional foods, food product development, nutraceuticals, diabetic nutrition, sports nutrition, food fortification, maternal and child nutrition, and public health nutrition. She has made significant contributions to nutrition research through numerous publications in Scopus, Web of Science, PubMed, and peer-reviewed journals. She has guided multiple Ph.D. and M.Sc. scholars, authored books and book chapters, developed online learning courses, secured patents, served as resource person at national and international conferences, and actively contributes to professional nutrition organizations. Her research primarily focuses on diabetes management, functional foods, food fortification, nutraceutical development, millet-based nutrition, and public health interventions.
