Dr. Sethu Mathialagan is a Ph.D.-qualified academician and researcher in biotechnology and environmental nanotechnology, currently serving as Associate Professor at SIMATS Engineering, Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences, Chennai. With over 10 years of research experience and 5+ years of teaching experience, he specializes in nanomaterials, energy storage systems, environmental remediation, and electrochemical analysis.
His research focuses on lithium-ion battery anode materials, photocatalytic degradation of dyes, and nanocomposite development for environmental applications. He has strong expertise in bioprocess engineering, nanobiotechnology, and computational biology, along with hands-on experience in advanced instrumentation and material characterization. He actively mentors students, contributes to research publications, and collaborates on interdisciplinary innovation.
