About
Dr. Sakshi Arora is an accomplished economist, academician, and public policy researcher with nearly a decade of interdisciplinary experience in academia, research, and policy consulting. Currently serving as Assistant Professor of Economics at Woxsen University, Hyderabad, she specializes in industrial economics, development economics, and applied econometrics.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Panjab University and is a recipient of the prestigious UGC Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). Her doctoral research focused on interstate variations in India’s manufacturing sector using advanced econometric techniques and large-scale datasets such as ASI and CSO.
Dr. Arora has extensive academic experience across leading institutions including Panjab University, DAV College, and Amity University. She has also contributed to national education initiatives through SWAYAM MOOCs and DD Vyas broadcasts under Government of India programs.
She has led an international multi-country research project as Principal Investigator funded by AASSREC (Australia), focusing on greenwashing and legal sustainability in emerging economies. Her work also includes consultancy with organizations such as the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) and GLOBAL PROJECT SBS.
Her research contributions span Scopus-indexed journals and edited volumes (Springer, Emerald), with focus areas including Industry 4.0, circular economy, sustainability, and digital transformation.
