Dr. Premanand Singh Chauhan is a distinguished academic leader, researcher, and Chartered Engineer with over 27 years of combined teaching and industrial experience. Currently serving as Director General and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Shri Ram College of Engineering and Management, Banmore, he has held key leadership roles including Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Principal, and Director at reputed institutions.
He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from MANIT Bhopal and is a gold medalist in M.Tech (Production Engineering). His expertise spans manufacturing engineering, industrial automation, material science, and Industry 4.0 technologies. He has contributed extensively to research with numerous Scopus-indexed publications, patents, books, and conference proceedings.
Dr. Chauhan has successfully led multiple consultancy projects and academic initiatives, supervised Ph.D. scholars, and organized international conferences and FDPs. He is actively associated with professional bodies, serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for reputed journals, and has received several national awards recognizing his excellence in education, research, and academic leadership.
