Dr. Preeti Handa Kakkar is a seasoned academician and researcher with over 23 years of extensive experience in teaching, research, and academic administration across life sciences, zoology, and agriculture domains. Currently serving as Associate Professor at Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University, Dehradun, she plays a pivotal role in academic leadership, curriculum development, and research coordination.
She holds a Ph.D. in Zoology with specialization in toxicology and has a strong multidisciplinary academic background spanning environmental science, microbiology, biotechnology, and agricultural sciences. Her research contributions include 35+ publications, book chapters, patents, and active participation in national and international conferences.
Dr. Kakkar has held multiple leadership roles including Head of Department, Examination Controller, NAAC Criteria Head, and Research Committee Member. She has guided numerous undergraduate and postgraduate research projects and actively contributes to academic quality assurance, innovation, and institutional development.
