Dr. Mukesh Sharma

Dr. Mukesh Sharma is a highly accomplished forensic scientist and academician with extensive expertise in forensic physics, materials science, and digital forensics. Currently serving as Assistant Director (Physics Division) at the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Jaipur, he has over two decades of experience spanning teaching, research, and forensic investigation.

He holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and has also been honored with an honorary Ph.D. in Forensic Science. Dr. Sharma has contributed significantly to forensic science through more than 180 research publications, 80 national and international talks, and 9 authored books. His work bridges academic research with real-world forensic applications, including crime scene investigation, trace evidence analysis, and cyber forensics.

He has delivered lectures and training sessions for police officers, forensic professionals, legal experts, and students across premier institutions such as NICFS, NFSU, RRU, and multiple universities in India and abroad. With experience in over 2500 forensic cases and 850 crime scene visits, along with more than 150 court testimonies, he brings strong practical expertise to his academic and mentorship roles.

Dr. Sharma is associated with several national and international professional bodies and serves as a reviewer/editor for multiple reputed journals in forensic science and materials science.
