Dr. Mohammad Athar is a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Forensic Science with over 10+ years of experience in teaching, research, and laboratory-based scientific investigation. Currently serving as Assistant Professor at IEHE, Bhopal, he has played a foundational role in establishing and strengthening forensic science education, including being a founding member of the Department of Forensic Sciences.
He holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry with specialization in forensic biomarker analysis and has strong expertise in medico-legal investigation, forensic toxicology, and advanced analytical techniques. His work involves handling sophisticated instruments such as HPLC, HPTLC, and FTIR, contributing to both academic research and practical forensic applications.
Dr. Athar has actively mentored over 200 students and contributed extensively to research publications, editorial boards, and international conferences. His interdisciplinary approach integrates forensic science with biotechnology, toxicology, and analytical chemistry, aiming to enhance investigative accuracy and scientific rigor in legal contexts.
