Mr. Gaurav Soin

Mr. Gaurav Soin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at Prestige Institute of Management & Research, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. He specializes in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Management Accounting, with over eight years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His academic career includes prior appointments at Vindhya Institute of Management & Research, Satna, and Aditya Group of Institutions, Satna. He currently serves as Programme Coordinator – Commerce (Oct 2024–Present), Member – Board of Studies (Commerce), and contributes to institutional quality frameworks as a NAAC Member (Criteria 5 & 6) and NBA Member (Criteria 4).

Mr.Soin’s academic credentials include a Ph.D. (Commerce & Business Studies) (thesis submitted, Jiwaji University), M.Com. (2019), and B.Com.(2012), alongside an Articleship (3 years) with CA RohitGarg& Associates. He has cleared UGC-NET (Commerce & Management, three times), UGC-SRF, State Eligibility Test (SET Commerce), and CA IPCC. His research focuses on consumer behaviour, marketing, innovation, and macroeconomics, with publications in SAGE, UGC-CARE, and internationally indexed journals, and accepted book chapters with Palgrave Macmillan (Springer) and SCOPUS-indexed volumes.

He is a reviewer for several academic journals, including South Asian Journal of Social Studies and Economics, IGI Global Scientific Publishing, and Asian Journal of Economics, Business and Accounting. Technically proficient in SmartPLS, AMOS, SPSS, MS Office, Jamovi, VOSviewer, Biblioshiny, Mendeley, JabRef, Zotero, Power BI, Tableau, LaTeX, and PRISMA, Mr.Soin combines deep analytical ability with research acumen and academic leadership.
