Dr. Aman Sharma is an experienced academician and hospitality professional with over 16 years of experience in teaching, research, and industry practice. Currently serving as Associate Professor (Director) in the Department of Hotel Management & Tourism at Desh Bhagat University, Punjab, he has contributed significantly to hospitality education, research, and academic leadership.
He holds a Ph.D. in Hospitality Management along with MBA (Hospitality) and a Master’s degree in Hotel Management. His expertise lies in food production, culinary tourism, sustainable tourism, and hospitality operations. His research focuses on regional cuisine development, consumer behavior in hospitality, and sustainable tourism practices.
Dr. Sharma has an extensive publication record including Scopus-indexed papers, UGC Care journals, book chapters, and edited books. He is actively involved in guiding Ph.D. scholars, serving as a resource person in international conferences, and contributing as an external examiner across reputed institutions.
With a strong blend of academic and industry experience, he is committed to advancing hospitality education, fostering research innovation, and mentoring students toward professional excellence in the tourism and hospitality sector.
